First of all if you've seen the tv show, know that this book is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like it. The main characters, Wells, Clark, Bellamy... they're all there but the only thing that is the same is the fact that they were sent to earth. That's it. It's a shock and kind of disappointing if you're attached to any of the characters on the tv show that never existed in the book. There are new characters too. It's an interesting concept and I'm excited to see what the series holds in contrast to the show. Easy read. Quick story plot development.
